The Best Fashion Instagrams of the Week: Rihanna, Chrissy Teigen, and More

Fashion month might be in full swing, but let’s recap a little. Following his Spring 2020 show in New York last week, Marc Jacobs didn’t forget to thank his biggest supporters—in a post-show Instagram post, Jacobs, who was dressed in a pink tweed Chanel jacket and red platform boots, posed with his ready-to-wear creative director, Joseph Carter, who wore the trending combo of socks and sandals. Also in New York, Rihanna posted an epic photo following her Amazon x Fenty extravaganza, posing in huge rimless sunglasses, a black hoodie, a striped blazer with puffed sleeves, and biker shorts. RiRi also made sure to highlight her white lace-up pointy-toe boots, which she referred to as a “corset boot”—snap us into those, please.

As the European shows kicked off on the other side of the pond, there were plenty more fashion updates along the way. News broke this past week that Demna Gvasalia is stepping down from Vetements, and the perpetually chic Muscovite Olga Karput waved farewell to the founder and creative director of the label in an Instagram post that saw her chicly dressed in a colorful look that, of course, was full Vetements. A bittersweet goodbye, indeed.

But guess what? The world doesn’t just revolve around fashion! Chrissy Teigen posted an Instagram of herself slumped in a chair in a decadent hotel room, wearing a short white double-breasted blazer dress and over-the-knee cream wedge boots. Her husband John Legend was in all black, with his head in his hands. It’s not all dreary though: In typically hilarious Teigen style, she announced that it was a post to celebrate her wedding anniversary. The couple have been hitched for six years—so hats off to the happy duo.
