‘Best Foot Forward’ campaign sees increases law enforcement at crosswalks in Central Florida

Law enforcement will be stepping up patrols near some crosswalks for the area’s “Best Foot Forward” safety program.

Plainclothes officers and deputies will be out at crosswalks throughout Central Florida.

Law enforcement will be issuing citations to drivers who don’t slow down or stop for people using crosswalks.

Drivers at fault could see a $164 ticket and three points on their license.
