Thousands of fans flocked to Indy this weekend for the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500.
Leading up to the 2023 race, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced celebrity appearances, including Adam Driver, Stephanie Beatriz and Jewel.
Below are some of the moments that had people talking at the track and beyond:

No, Adam Driver didn't wave a lightsaber
After Adam Driver was announced as the official starter for this year's race, fans wondered if he'd wave a green lightsaber instead of a flag. Which is preposterous, because Kylo Ren would have his signature red lightsaber, but anyway... it didn't happen.
