The Best Moments From London Fashion Week 2019

You might have seen Dom Sebastian’s work (he’s done campaigns and set design for Yeezy, Nike, Puma, and Camper), but this September was his first time showing his fashion designs to the public. Sebastian graduated from Central Saint Martins, in 2018, with a focus on textiles, his speciality being manipulating digitized imagery and physical imagery into what he calls “a clinical but surreal aesthetic.” This season he wanted to talk about the overconsumption of the internet; the result was a mixing of “liquids, objects, and symbols” into rather abstract and “frenetic” prints on leggings, tights, skirts, turtlenecks, button-up jackets, and body-con dresses. It reminded me of what you might see after scrolling the internet for hours with tired eyes, or what might happen when your browser has a glitch.

From Molly Goddard’s tulle dresses to Matty Bovan’s face goggles, here’s what I saw my first time at London Fashion Week.
