Although we can’t make restaurant bookings to gather with our extended families and celebrate Mother’s Day this year on Sunday 14 March, that doesn’t mean we can’t show our appreciation for the special people in our lives and spoil them from afar.
In theory, from March 8, recreation in outdoor public spaces will be allowed between two people – so you could perhaps have a coffee, drink or picnic together, just the two of you, in a public space.
If that’s not possible for you, allow us to present our pick of the best gourmet gifting ideas to delight her taste buds this year.
Our top ten presents include special breakfast feasts in lieu of treating her to Buck’s Fizz and breakfast in bed yourself, hampers, edible (and quaffable) gifts – and the very best Mother's Day restaurant meal kits for a sense of occasion, even at home (all available for delivery across the UK).
