Whether you're feeling lucky, almost lucky or could use a bit of luck, there are dozens of opportunities in Palm Beach County to celebrate the luck of the Irish for St. Patrick's Day.

We have parades and festivals, plenty of music, drink and restaurant specials. In a few cases, entire city blocks have been closed in order to properly fete the day which owes its name to Ireland's patron saint, who is believed to have died on March 17, 461.

Here are some options, listed roughly north to south, where the Guinesss, Murphy's, Smithwicks and Jameson will be flowing, where the corned beef is delicious and piled high, the fish and chips are crispy and the shepherd's pie is deep and delectable.
