BET Awards: The winners list

Susan Haas

The BET Awards lasted more than three and a half hours on Sunday, but not all of the trophies were handed out during the performance- and tribute-heavy TV presentation.

Three award recipients were specially selected and honored during the ceremony. Mary J. Blige accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award, Tyler Perry was honored with the Ultimate Icon Award and the family of Nipsey Hussle, who was killed in March, received the Humanitarian Award in his honor.
