LAS VEGAS (WJW) — The U.S. national anthem is one of the most challenging songs to pull off. From the low to high notes, figuring out where to breathe and, of course, the ever-present comparison to Whitney Houston, whose classic version is widely considered among the best.

At this year’s Super Bowl, which saw the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers face off once more, country music star Reba McEntire was asked to sing the national anthem. The 68-year-old came out in the middle of the stadium, surrounded by flags and Marines and offered her own version of the song.
