MINTY BETS: You're not going to want to go out this Friday night because we've got two conference championship games happening in college football. I'm Minty Bets joined by Pam Maldonado and Mark Drumheller. And they're here to give you their favorite bets for each match-up. Let's start with the Conference USA championship between North Texas at UTSA. We're seeing San Antonio at minus 8 and 1/2 and the total set at 68 and 1/2.

Who better to go to than our Texas resident Pam Maldonado? What do you got for us?

PAMELA MALDONADO: I love the underdog, North Texas plus 8 and 1/2 at UTSA. Mean Green quarterback, Austin Aune, top 25 in the country for passing yards, top 15 in yards per pass attempt, 31 total touchdowns this season. Not only is that top 10 in the country, but that is one spot back from Heisman favorite Caleb Williams of USC.

There is a fun fact for you. And that's Aune is the oldest quarterback to play D-1 ball in the modern era at 29 years old. Use some of that experience, use that veteran mentality, to exploit the Road Runner secondary. Both North Texas and UTSA defense bottom 30 against the pass. You cannot ignore an underdog, getting more than a touchdown, facing a defense that is this bad. UTSA's defense allowed 500 yards of total offense to UTEP just last week, allowed 500 yards of total offense to Western Kentucky mid-season.

The Roadrunners, 2 and 5 against the spread as a favorite of 7 points or more. I will gladly take old man Aune and North Texas plus 8 and 1/2, definitely biting on that plus 240 moneyline.

MINTY BETS: All right. Moving on to the West Coast. We've got the Pac 12 championship taking place in my hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. USC versus Utah. We're seeing the Trojans as 3-point favorites, and the total set at 68. Mark, what do you have for us?

MARK DRUMHELLER: Well, I've been watching the Pac 12 long enough to know that we don't always get what we expect in these types of games. Laying 3 points is tough with the Trojans defense. And it's also difficult to back Cam Rising after how erratic he played against Oregon. That's why I bet the USC team total over 34 and 1/2. The USC offense is third in the country in scoring and put up 556 yards against Utah in the first meeting.

If there's a player on the field I want to put my money on, it's Caleb Williams. He's pulled away in the Heisman race and has already thrown five touchdowns against the Utah secondary. USC has scored 38 or more points in 10 of 12 games this season. And I'm betting that the offense is going to deliver in the biggest game of the year.

MINTY BETS: To recap Friday's conference championship games, Pam is taking North Texas plus the points. And Mark has got USC's team total over. Bet $10 and win $200 when you wager on any event.
