On the mound for Cincinnati, we've got Tyler Mahle. He's 7-3, with a 3.93 ERA, 126 strikeouts, and 38 walks. Tyler Mahle is a pitcher I typically always back, so I'm going to look for the Reds to take the first five innings on the run line. The Reds have won the last four times Mahle started against the Cardinals. Although neither offense tends to excel against their opposing pitchers, I like the Reds -0.5 in the first five, because I can't trust their bullpen. Cincinnati is 4-0 their last four meetings against St. Louis, so give me the Reds, first five.
