Video Transcript

- It's time for some Sunday Night Football, as the San Francisco 49ers host the Green Bay Packers. The 9ers are 3 and 1/2 point favorites, and the total is set at 48 and a half. Here with me is poker Hall of Famer, and 15-time world champ, and die hard Packers fan, Phil Hellmuth. Phil, without any bias, who are you betting on to win this Sunday night?

PHIL HELLMUTH: I mean, it's such a complicated. I mean, this is what I love about the NFL, right? I mean, I watch seven games every Sunday for like 10 years. For me, I just love it. And it's fun. It's also fun to try to figure out. It's a very challenging thing. But to me, if this game happened last year, I would be betting the Packers.

Because what happened last year, and they didn't talk about it enough the way I was thinking, is you could hear that because there was no stadium noise, Rodgers could come up and change the play two or three times. And then he was actually masterfully controlling the game. It was pretty cool to watch all year.

But now we have crowd noise. And the Packers defenses look like Swiss cheese. And unfortunately, Rodgers has not played well when he comes back to where he grew up, which is the Bay area. So I'm going to have to-- I'm going to have to, you know, be an anti-Homer, and I'm going to have to take the 9ers in this game.

- Oh, smart man. I actually really, really like that pick. But I'm not going to take a side here today. I think I'm going to look to the total. Now, this 9ers offense is stacked. And like you said, I think they can poke holes in this Green Bay defense. Also, Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones are a match made in heaven. I think there's going to be a lot of scoring here.

So I'm going to take the over here. And Phil, I know you have a lot of picks that you give out. So tell the people what you have going on and where they can find you.

PHIL HELLMUTH: Yeah, I'm having a lot of fun this year. I've always kind of wanted to have my own NFL show. So I have a couple this year. One is the bad beats. You know, the bad beat of the week. Which, I mean, you don't have to go far, talking about the 9ers.

There was a minute and 50 seconds left in the Detroit game in week one. And the line was 8 and 1/2. They were up 24 points, everybody turned it off. And somehow, miraculously, Detroit scored a touchdown, hit a 2-point conversion, did an onside kick, another touchdown, another 2-point conversionm the Lions on 8, and everybody's going bananas, I mean that had to be about a 500 to 1 shot.

So we're doing a bad beat of the week. So we spotlight that. And then also, I'm doing my pick of the week. I'm one on one, full disclosure. But I'm having a lot of fun though. I really enjoy the NFL, it's fun for me.

- And Phil, where can everyone find you?

PHIL HELLMUTH: Yeah, I mean, you can see my-- can see my weekly shows on Playmaker network. Or just go to my Twitter, and I'll have them posted there. And I like your overpick. Although, the 9ers are down to their fourth string. But I think that's why the number's 48. So I think it's a very smart pick on your part.

- Well, thank you very much. Good luck to you this weekend, Phil.

PHIL HELLMUTH: See you, guys.
