- Welcome to The Mint everyone. A sports betting show, where we're not trying to make you money, we're just trying to make sure you don't lose it all.

I'm Minty Bets. And today, we need to talk about the Chiefs inability to cover the spread. We know that Kansas City is a winning team. Their offense is explosive.

Andy Reid is a coaching genius. They made it to the Super Bowl two years in a row and in the words of fantasy analyst Matt Harmon. Patrick Mahomes is QB Jesus.

Dating back to 2018, the Chiefs are 38 in 10 straight up. But if you've been betting on them lately, you've probably lost quite a bit of money as their 1, 11 and 1 against the spread their last 13 games, including in the playoffs.

Yet somehow, people still keep betting on them. Every week, we see bettors including myself put their money on Kansas City. It doesn't matter what the point spread is. It doesn't matter who they're playing. They will always be the public's team to bet on. And the books rake in cash everyday single time.

Let me save you some money this season not by fading my picks, but by simply fading the Chiefs. Just avoid their games in general and look to some teams that can cover the spread. Like the Bills, the Dolphins, and even somehow the Bengals.

So if you want to keep betting on the Chiefs, please make sure to do so at the Yahoo Sportsbook. Since you know, they pay my bills.

I'm in Minty Bets. And this has been The Mint.
