Betting: Haney vs. Kambosos Jr. Boxing Odds
Minty Bets is joined by Kevin Iole to preview the upcoming fight between Devin Haney and George Kambosos Jr.

MINTY BETS: This weekend in Melbourne, Australia, we've got the undisputed lightweight title bout between the WBC champ Devin Haney, minus 190, and the Unified Champion and Australia's very own George Kambosos Jr, plus 135. I'm Minty Bets. And joining me is Kevin Iole to give us his best bet. Kevin, I've never-- or I should say I rarely see odds this close in a main event boxing match. What do you think of this one?
KEVIN IOLE: Well, it's a good fight. And you know, George Kambosos is coming off a big win over Teofimo Lopez, a fight where he got knocked down. He was a huge underdog in that fight. He got dropped in the fight, yet, he won that fight very convincingly. I think he convinced a lot of people that he's the real deal.
Different kind of match-up he faces though, Minty, against Devin Haney. You know, Devin Haney is not the power puncher that Lopez is. But Devin Haney is a really good boxer. Extremely quick, extremely smart in the ring.
I like Devin Haney to win the fight by decision. Now, I have two issues that make me concerned here. Two of Devin Haney coaches-- his father Bill isn't able to get into Australia. Nor is Ben Davison, who was in his corner for his last few fights.
Davison, a highly regarded trainer from the UK, had been working with Haney. He had some connection with MTK global. Because of that, he's not allowed to travel outside of the UK. So he can't get in.
So Haney is going to have Yoel Judah in his corner for the first time. And that concerns me a little bit. If the fight gets close, does Yoel Judah know what adjustments to make?
But I still like Haney to win. And I think Kambosos is going to pressure him. I think you'll see Haney counter and move. So I like Devin Haney to win in decision. I will lay the 190 and I will bet Devin Haney to win this.
