Betting: Will Michigan Cover -4 at Michigan State?
Pamela Maldonado joins Minty Bets to give her best bet for Week 9 of the college football season. She also gives her pick for Michigan vs. Michigan State.

MINTY BETS: It's week nine of the college football season. I'm Minty Bets joined by Pam Maldonado and she has been fire the last two weeks with her best bets and marquee games of the week. So Pam, let's start things off with your best bet. What do you have for us this week?
PAM MALDONADO: I really love totals as of late, they are treating me good, so I'm going back to the well. I'm taking an under, North Texas at Rice under 57. The Mean Green, they are a run first team led by DeAndre Torrey, seven rushing scores on the season, well on his way to a 1,000 rushing yards this year. Facing Rice who is bottom 20 against the run.
This is a game that where North Texas is going to control the pace, run the clock. Rice is 127th in total offense. Both teams are bottom 40 in touchdown scored, averaging just 19 and 13 points per game. This number is definitely inflated based off of last week's game where Rice put up 30 points against UAB as 24 point underdogs.
Seven points, however, was scored on a turnover. 10 points scored in the second half. Because this number is inflated, I get to buy low on a higher number. I'm taking the under 57 North Texas at Rice.
MINTY BETS: Onto the marquee game of the week. We have Michigan at Michigan State. The Wolverines are four point favorites and the total is 50 and 1/2. What do you think about this one?
PAM MALDONADO: I think this number is a little too high. I'm going back to the totals, I'm going back to and under. Michigan and Michigan State, under 50 and 1/2. Michigan, they are eighth in total defense and ninth in opponent touchdowns allowed.
Michigan State is 14th. Michigan the Wolverines, a fourth best in rushing offense, 13th in converting third downs. What does that mean? They get to extend the drives.
They are 12th in time of possession. They like to run the clock. The start of this game is going to be the Wolverines running backs Blake Corum and Hassan Haskins and the Michigan defense. I like the under, 50 and 1/2 Michigan and Michigan State.
