- Welcome to The Mint, everyone, a sports betting show where we're not trying to make you money. We're just trying to make sure you don't lose it all. I'm Minty Bets, and today we need to talk about the NFL's overtime rule. Sunday night gave us the most exciting game of the week. OK, maybe the season. The-- well, maybe ever as the Chiefs hosted the Bills.

This one was truly a toss-up as the line closed at Chiefs minus 2 and 1/2. Most of the scoring happened in the fourth quarter, more specifically 25 points were scored in the final two minutes of the game.

- This is me scoring in your face.

- It was a wild back and forth, which resulted in overtime. This is where things get a little controversial. The winner is basically decided by a coin flip. Yup, that's right, heads or tails. One ball we're going to score

- This current OT rule truly tests the defense of a team as they have to keep the opposing offense out of the end zone or else they lose. Fair or unfair? Gambling Twitter is going nuts, saying that both teams should get a chance with the ball.

- Makes sense to me.

- If that was the case for this specific game, I think both teams would have just continue to run up the scoreboard, and we would have watched this game all night long, which wouldn't have been a bad thing.

- Don't stop watching.

- But if a team is really championship material, shouldn't they have a solid offense and defense?

- Defense!

- Do you think this OT rule should change for equal opportunity or do you think it should remain? Let's hear your thoughts. I'm Minty Bets, and this has been "The Mint."
