Betting: Will Patriots go over 8.5 wins this season?
Ariel Epstein and Minty Bets predict which teams will go over their season win total in the 2022 NFL season.

ARIEL EPSTEIN: We're just a couple of weeks away from the football season. Alongside Minty Bets, I'm Ariel Epstein here at "Yahoo Sportsbook". It's time to buy some of these NFL teams coming up in September. We're going to go look to the overs on some of the win totals on BetMGM. Minty, which one stands out the most to you?
MINTY BETS: All right, the one that stands out the most to me is the Las Vegas Raiders, over 8 and 1/2 wins. Now, before everyone freaks out thinking that this is a homer pick, I'm here to tell you it's not. 8 and 1/2 wins just really doesn't seem like a stretch to me as they recorded 10 wins last season.
I mean, this offense is pretty fierce with this receiving corps now with the addition of Davante Adams. And they've got a strong running back duo in Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake. And in the center of it all, of course, we've got Derek Carr.
Now, Vegas's schedule is not that bad this season. They do really well against their AFC West opponents, going 7 and 5 straight up dating back to 2020. And they face some easy opponents like Houston, Jacksonville, New Orleans, and Seattle, so I'm pretty high on 8 and 1/2 wins over.
ARIEL EPSTEIN: I'm going to go over to the AFC East. I really like for the New England Patriots to go over 8 and 1/2 wins. They got one of the wide receivers from their own division at Miami.
DeVante Parker is now a wide receiver on the Patriots. That adds to this already top 10 offense when it comes to points per game that was led by a rookie quarterback Mac Jones. You're going to tell me that this Patriots team is going to get worse in year two, especially with the head coach like Bill Belichick?
The defense for New England was also top 10 last season in points and yards allowed per game. I love this Patriots team to go over 8 and 1/2 wins, especially because they're not even telling you who the offensive and defensive coordinators are. Maybe that throws off the opposition-- over 8 and 1/2 wins for the New England Patriots.
