Jared Quay is simply saying that he'll be betting against the New England Patriots for the next decade. Hear him out!
JARED QUAY: I'm simply saying I will be fading the Patriots for the next decade. Hear me out, everything in life comes to balance, all right? If you flip a coin 100 times, it'll probably go heads 50, tails 50. And it's because of this logic that I'm going to be fading the Patriots for this entire decade.
Because the last decade, they were the best team in the NFL against the spread. 103 wins, 75 losses and four ties. I don't know how they do that with a half point, but let's think about what they had during that decade.
They had a All-Star quarterback who many referred to as the G.O.A.T. They had all pros on a defense and offense and they had one of the best to surveillance and deflate teams, which would make their team the "Ocean 11" of stealing championships. But what goes up must come down.
Let's think about what they don't have this decade. They don't have a quarterback that can throw the ball accurately over 25 yards down the field. They don't have all pros on the offense and defense. And they probably won't have N'Keal Harry.
And that's not important, but it helps my argument for rule of threes. What they do have is a quarterback battle between this guy who dresses like this, and this guy walks like this. And also, I can't even put my money on neither one of those guys.
So unless they find a way to get Trevor Lawrence traded from the Jaguars, I will be fading in the Patriots for the next decade. I'm simply saying it's because of science.
- Yeah, science.
JARED QUAY: Yeah, I know I sound crazy. And if you think I'm crazy, why not bet against me? Go to BetMGM.com/yahoo and get a promotion. Hold on, someone's in my ear telling me I'm wrong. No, I'm right.
