MATT MOOSE: Preston, what do you think about the 3-point contest this weekend?

PRESTON JOHNSON: I have a lot of thoughts. Let's start at the top, OK? Number one, I'm guessing Joe Harris just said he didn't want to participate because he's shooting over 50% from 3, which is 4% better than the next best player that qualifies for a certain amount of attempts. Like, I don't know why Joe Harris isn't in this thing. I believe he's actually won one before, as well. He should be in it. I'm very high on guys that are just great set shooters that are regularly doing catch and shoot 3's. And like, Zach Levine's not doing that very frequently.

Jaylen Brown is occasionally. That's kind of-- I like kind of like the hometown hero, dark horse angle. I'll get behind that to some extent. But it's Steph Curry's to lose. And I know Jared mentioned, is not always the best shooter but Steph's won before, Klay Thompson won before, Joe Harris has won before, and those are some of the best shooters we've ever seen.

And so for me, I would just go with Steph. Now it's going to be dependent once we start getting these priced and we look at odds. You know, if it's Steph minus 110 versus the field, that's not likely going to be a good bet. But if have Steph's like plus 250 or something in that range versus the rest of this field, then I would start looking his way.

JARED QUAY: Don't you think the odds are-- by odds, shouldn't you just choose whoever has the lowest odds? Because a 3-point contest, it's not like it's a lot, right?
