Kevin Iole recaps the UFC 270 PPV Card from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Video Transcript

KEVIN IOLE: Everybody, I am Kevin Iole at the Honda Center in Anaheim, and we have one new champion, and we have one and still. Francis Ngannou went off as a +115 under dog to Ciryl Gane in their fight for the undisputed Heavyweight Championship. Ngannou shocked everybody by grappling his way to victory. Gane wins the first two rounds, looked really good.

The fight looked like it was going his way. And then, all of a sudden, Francis Ngannou gets a takedown in the third round, and the fight changed its complexion entirely, completely different fight from that point. Francis Ngannou gets the victory, very, very well deserved. Ngannou went off plus 115. Ciryl Gane was minus 140. There was really not many big strikes in the fight.

It was all a grappling battle for the most part. In the co-main event, another classic between Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo. Moreno, believe it or not, closed at minus 200, plus 165 for Figueiredo, but Figueiredo pulled the fight out. It was very close, could have gone either way.

Maybe the punch at the end of the second round that dropped Moreno stole that round for Figueiredo and won him the fight. It was a very close fight, as I said, could have gone either way. A lot of action on this card, overall, and the two title fights really delivered. From the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, I am Kevin Iole for Yahoo Sports.
