MINTY BETS: Got UFC 282 taking place this Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm Minty Bets joined by Kevin Iole to give us his best bets for two of the fights in the main card. The first one being the main event, a light heavyweight title bout between Magomed Ankalaev, -250, versus Jan Blachowicz, +200.

Kevin, what are your thoughts on this one? I think this is going to be a great fight. And I don't think I can bet against Ankalaev. He's such a very well-rounded fighter here.

KEVIN IOLE: When you think of Ankalaev, he is 18 and 1, and he could be within one second of being 19 and 0. He was beating Paul Craig from beginning to end, and he got submitted with one second to go in the fight. His only loss.

And you look at who he's beaten over the last four fights. He dominated Anthony Smith, and you know how highly I think of Anthony Smith. Anthony Smith is a really tough guy and Ankalaev just dominated him. Beat Thiago Santos, Volkan Oezdemir, and Nikita Krylov, all of whom are really on top of their games right now. Ankalaev is really looking good.

Blachowicz is the former champion. He also has a lot of really good wins. He's beaten Israel Adesanya, Dominick Reyes. A lot of really good wins on his record. I like Ankalaev, though. I think he has more ways to win this fight certainly.

It's going to be an interesting fight on the feet. I think if it goes to the ground, that's where you're going to see a big advantage for Ankalaev. So I like Ankalaev. I will go ahead and lay the money and I will play Ankalaev to win this one.

MINTY BETS: All right. Moving on to the lightweight bout between Paddy Pimblett, -210, versus Jared Gordon, +165. Now, Paddy the Baddy has been a very hot rising star here in the UFC. What do you think about this one?

KEVIN IOLE: I think this is a step up for him in competition, so we're going to see what he has. I mean, he is a very well-rounded fighter who's got great jiu jitsu skills. He can stand. Jared Gordon is a tough guy who's been through a lot and is really, I think, starting to emerge now as a factor at lightweight.

I like Pimblett in this. I think this is a fight that probably could go the distance. So I'm going to go ahead I'm going to play Pimblett. I'm also going to play this fight goes the distance.

MINTY BETS: Thank you so much, Kevin. Good luck.

KEVIN IOLE: Thank you, Minty.

MINTY BETS: To recap Kevin's picks, he's got Ankalaev to win the light heavyweight title bout and Paddy Pimblett to win the lightweight bout.
