MINTY BETS: This Saturday, Newark, New Jersey hosts UFC 288. I'm Minty Bets, and joining me is Kevin Iole to give us his best bets for the main event and co-main event. Kevin, in the bantamweight title bout, we see Henry Cejudo, the former champion, come out of retirement. And he's now a minus 115 favorite over the current champion, Aljamain Sterling, at minus 105. This one is actually kind of tough to predict, and I'm kind of leaning Aljo here. But I want to know your thoughts, Kevin. How are you betting on this one?

KEVIN IOLE: Well, I think given the way you've been going, Minty, we ought to maybe get your pick and not my pick. But I actually like Henry Cejudo in this. I think it's a tough fight. And the one thing that Aljo has going for him, not only is he a huge bantamweight, but he's been on a roll. He's been doing good.

And he fights to win. He doesn't necessarily fight to look good or to make headlines. He fights to win. And when you're betting, that's what you want. And so I can see going with Aljo, but I think Cejudo is one of the great fighters of all time. He really understands gameplanning and knowing what he needs to do.

And even though he's been away for a while from the sport, I think he's going to be able to come back and step in kind of where he was. And so I like Henry Cejudo in what I think is going to be an interesting fight that'll go a long way. I'll take Henry Cejudo. I'll lay the 115.

MINTY BETS: OK, moving on to the welterweight co-main event. This is a five-round non-title bout between Gilbert Burns at minus 125 and Belal Muhammad at plus 105. What do you think, Kevin?

KEVIN IOLE: Another tough one here, I'll tell you what. But I lean toward Belal Muhammad for this reason, Minty. We know that Gilbert just fought. Belal has been on a roll. Belal's 34 years old. I think he realizes he needs this win if he ever has a hope of fighting for the title. If he doesn't get it, he's probably done in terms of getting a title shot. I'm not saying he's going to get a title shot just off of this, but he certainly needs this to be in position to get it.

And his wrestling is really good. I think this should be a fascinating fight, given the fact that Gilbert Burns is good on his feet, but he also is an elite grappler. I think that's going to be a fun fight, but I'm going to go ahead and take Belal Muhammad to win this.

MINTY BETS: All right, thank you so much, Kevin. Good luck.

KEVIN IOLE: Thank you, Minty. You too.
