MINTY BETS: This Saturday at the UFC Apex, we've got UFC Fight Night. Kevin Iole joins me to give us his best bet for the light heavyweight main event between Nikita Krylov, -165, versus Ryan Spann at +140. Kevin, I can make a case for both of these guys, but I'm very interested to see who you're picking for this fight.
KEVIN IOLE: Well, I am going to go with Ryan Spann. I love that +140. Ryan Spann has really improved. You know, he said after one of his recent fights that he kind of changed his approach. He said before he was such a good athlete, he didn't even really train for his fights, and that he just kind of made sure he was able to make weight, and he would-- he would get better. And he realizes now that, hey, he needs to train for the fights and take this seriously as a full-time occupation.
Now, when you look at Krylov, Krylov has faced amazing competition going back to 2018. He's fought two former champions and six former title challengers. So he is by far had the best of the opposition. You know, Ryan Spann has been maybe a notch or so down from that. But I think we're seeing Ryan Spann come into his own right now. I like Spann a lot as an athlete. And I think he gets it done in a really good fight here with Nikita Krylov. So I'm going to go with Ryan Spann to win this one.
