In celebration of what would have been Betty White's 100th birthday, fans are honoring the late actress and comedian with a challenge for a good cause.
The challenge sweeping through social media encourages fans to donate to local animal rescues or shelters in White's name on Jan. 17, which would have been her birthday. The Golden Girl passed away Dec. 31 at the age of 99.
