Beyonce fans were left “fuming” after they struggled to get tickets for her upcoming shows amid “huge demand”.

The Halo singer has announced a string of UK dates on her Renaissance world tour, with stops including Cardiff, Edinburgh and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, and fans rushed to snap up O2 presale tickets when they went on sale on Thursday (2 February).

However, many were left empty-handed, complaining of being kicked out of the queue and crashes.

"How did I just get a Beyonce standing ticket in my basket and then lost it, I’m fuming," one tweeted.

Another posted: "How have people got tickets. Absolutely gutted it has kicked me out when I got to the end of the queue."

"21st century and ticketing websites still can’t cope with a big pre-sale demand and crash," said somebody else.

One fan wrote: "Been waiting for the tickets to load for 20 mins to be kicked out of the queue for Beyonce tickets!!! Fuming."

"Decided to do tonight’s lottery instead," said one fan.

"Since I have more chance of winning the jackpot and flying in a helicopter with @Beyonce than getting onto your app and getting a whiff of a ticket."

O2 tweeted: "We apologise to anyone experiencing difficulties trying to get Beyonce tickets through Priority. Tickets are selling and we're seeing huge demand.

"We're doing everything we can behind the scenes to help keep the app running smoothly."
