Stephen Mulhern has hinted he could soon be joining The Masked Singer.

The Britain's Got More Talent host has previously been linked to the franchise, when it was guessed he could have been Bush Baby from the first series.

Rumours circulated again earlier this year that the magician could be behind the mask of one of the Masked Dancer acts.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Stephen said: "If I was going to join the franchise, would I go on it as a singer? The answer is yes.

"Would I go on as a dancer? No, I can't dance. But then again neither can Eddie The Eagle Edwards but he pushed it.

"I would definitely go on as a singer. In fact, that's the only sort of reality show I'd do. I'm A Celebrity couldn't afford me to go on.

"They would need to offer me a lot of money to eat a kangaroo ball or whatever. But I would definitely do Masked Singer, who knows!"

Stephen also spoke about his show Rolling In It, which comes back to ITV on Saturday, July 10 at 7pm for the second series.

He added how delighted he was for the show to return, saying series 2 was recommissioned very early due to good ratings.

"It just is such a winning format and it works," he said.

"If you said to someone, we want a show that delivers drama, excitement and every emotion you can imagine, from happiness to sadness and everything in between, anger to competitiveness you've never seen before, this show just does it."

He continued: "With the contestants and their partners, we had celebrities who wouldn't usually do gameshows, they wouldn't do shows outside of their own show, like James Martin for example.

"He openly said it was the first game show he'd ever been on, and he did it because he saw the excitement of series one. Little did he know, he's not here on a jolly day out to go 'good luck Debra, hope you do well.' He's there as a key role and he's as responsible for losing someone £10,000 to £50,000 as the contestant themselves."

Rolling In It is on ITV on Saturday, July 10 at 7pm.
