Bianca Wallace pays tribute to Ioan Gruffudd on his birthday as his custody battle with ex continues

Bianca Wallace paid tribute to boyfriend Ioan Gruffudd on Instagram as she marked his 49th birthday on Thursday.

The 30-year-old actress shared a sweet snap of her other half as she claimed the world is a “better place because of you and your kind, gentle heart.”

Her heartfelt message comes as Gruffudd failed to come to an agreement with estranged wife Alice Evans last week over the custody of their daughters Elsie, eight, and Ella, 12.

Although Wallace, who has multiple sclerosis, made no reference to the recent drama in her social media post, she acknowledged that the duo had “been through more than most in such a short time together”.

Captioning a picture of Gruffudd standing on a diving board at Cannes’ Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, she wrote: “To the most precious man on the planet… on my new favourite date! Happy birthday to you, my love.

“The world is, and always will be, a much better place because of you and your kind, gentle heart.

“We have been through more than most in such a short time together, but I wouldn’t change anything because of what it created for us. I love you!

“Ps. This photo makes me so happy! One year ago today I gave a very shocked Yo his birthday gift - Staying at the glorious Eden-roc! Such beautiful memories.”

The Liar actor first went Instagram official with Wallace last October and cited her for “for making me smile again.”

Their relationship was met with fury by Gruffudd’s estranged wife, who accused the pair at the time of seeing each other “behind her back” for three years - allegations neither Gruffudd or Wallace have addressed publicly.

However, a wardrobe assistant who worked with them on Australian drama Harrow denied Evans’ affair claims, alleging that the couple had given her permission to speak out.

Meanwhile, it was reported over the weekend that the Fantastic Four actor and Evans had failed to come to an agreement over the custody of their daughters.

In July, Gruffudd filed for joint custody of his two daughters and asked for custody and visitation rights to see them amid their acrimonious split.

Now, according to court documents via MailOnline, the former couple have failed to settle their differences in family court, despite the help of a mediator.

Aside from their custody battle, Gruffudd also obtained a restraining order against Eve earlier this summer, banning her from mentioning him on social media for three years after she shared pointed rants at her ex and his new girlfriend online.
