Bicyclist in critical condition after Berkeley Heights accident

BERKELEY HEIGHTS – One person is in critical condition after a bicycle accident on Connell Drive Tuesday evening.

At about 10:55 p.m Tuesday, township police went to Connell Drive on reports of a bicycle accident. The bicyclist, whose name was not released by police, was taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital by State Police Medivac where the patient is in critical condition, Berkeley Height Police Lieutenant Frank Mea Jr. said.

Police did not give details of the incident. An investigation is underway, Mea said.
