President Biden will join a star-studded group of entertainers to honor Betty White as part of a prime-time TV special.

The commander in chief will appear on NBC's "Celebrating Betty White: America's Golden Girl," on Monday at 10 p.m., the network announced Thursday.

White, the widely beloved "Golden Girls" and "Hot in Cleveland" actor, died last month just weeks ahead of her 100th birthday.

In addition to Biden, the lineup for the hourlong special includes: Cher, Drew Barrymore, Ellen DeGeneres, Bryan Cranston, Goldie Hawn, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Valerie Bertinelli, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Jay Leno, Joel McHale, Tracy Morgan, Jean Smart, Vicki Lawrence, Jane Leeves and Anthony Mackie.

Those appearing in the tribute to White will "recount their favorite memories and reveal untold stories to commemorate the life and legacy of the trailblazing television star," NBC said.

Following news of her death on Dec. 31, Biden called White a "lovely lady."

In a later tweet, Biden dubbed the performer a "cultural icon" who "brought a smile to the lips of generations of Americans."
