American President Joe Biden referred to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin as a "crazy S.O.B.", a common acronym for “son of a b*tch”, during a fundraising event in San Francisco on Feb. 22, CNN reported.

He mentioned the Kremlin dictator while discussing climate change.

“We have a crazy S.O.B. that guy, Putin, others,” Biden told the crowd at the fundraiser.

“And we always have to be worried about a nuclear conflict. But the existential threat to humanity is climate.”

Biden also criticized comments made by former U.S. President Donald Trump, who compared his legal troubles to the death of Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny.

Biden paraphrased Trump's words and then remarked to the audience, “If I stood here 10 to 15 years ago and said all this, you’d all think I should be committed.”

“He’s comparing himself to Navalny and saying that because our country’s become a communist country, he was persecuted, just like Navalny was persecuted,” Biden said.

“Where the hell does this comes from?”, he asked.

It’s not the first time when Biden sharply criticized Putin.

After Navalny died in custody on Feb. 16, Biden blamed the Russian dictator and "his thugs" for the death.

Following the start of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the U.S. President called Putin a "real thug" and a "killer dictator."
