US President Joe Biden was greeted by Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador at Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA) in Mexico City on Sunday evening, January 8, ahead of the North American Leaders’ Summit.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who was also attending the summit, arrived in Mexico on Monday afternoon.

Biden and Lopez Obrador were expected to hold talks on a range of issues, including illegal border crossings, fentanyl trafficking, and the integration of supply chains on Monday, before Trudeau’s arrival, according to the White House.

The three leaders and their spouses were scheduled to meet at a private dinner on Monday evening at the National Palace in Mexico City, according to the Mexican government.
