Biden says U.S. is “on the move again” as unemployment dips

Hiring is up and unemployment is dropping. President Biden said Friday that the May jobs report is a sign that the U.S. is “on the move again.”

- Well, tonight President Biden is hailing the May jobs report is a sign that America is on the move again. Hiring did pick up with 559,000 jobs created. That's about double the April figure, and the unemployment rate dipped 3/10 of a point to 5.8%. That's actually the lowest since the pandemic began. But the US still has nearly 8 million fewer jobs than before.
