Biden's energy secretary pushes Build Back Better plan in Sacramento visit

On the heels of President Joe Biden's Build Back Better plan stalling in the Senate, Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm pushed the climate and social energy bill in a trip to Sacramento on Friday. Alongside Rep. Ami Bera (D) Elk Grove, the two toured a SMUD training facility in Sacramento County and looked at the company's energy storage batteries and solar panels. In a press conference following the tour, Granholm reiterated the president's goal of getting to 100% clean electricity by 2035. She said ways to accomplish this include storing solar power with batteries and producing additional jobs in the industry. See more in the video above.
