The Biedenharn Museum and Gardens ranked fifth among Louisiana's most beautiful parks, according to a recent study.

The study revealed the most beautiful green spaces in the state, analyzing over 28,000 TripAdvisor reviews to determine which Louisiana parks had the highest percentage of reviews mentioning "beautiful."

The Monroe museum has three exhibits: the historic home and botanical gardens, Coca-Cola museum and Bible museum.

The museum was built in 1913 as a private home by Joseph A. Biedenharn, who is credited with first bottling Coca-Cola in 1894 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The home is open for tours and is furnished as it was when Biedenharn's daughter, Emy-Lou Biedenharn, who died in 1984.

Rip Van WInkle Gardens in New Iberia takes the top spot followed by Longue Vue House and Gardens in New Orleans.

Other parks listed include Afton Villa Gardens in St. Francisville, Lake End Park in Morgan City, Jungle Gardens on Avery Island, Lake Claiborne State Park in Homer, Gardens of the American Rose Center in Shreveport and Houmas House & Gardens in Darrow.
