Big 8 Middle School Wrestling Conference Championship Results
In addition to the high school wrestling conference tournament, the Big 8 held their annual middle school wrestling tournament. Several local youth athletes participated in the tournament and brought home medals and titles. Here are the results for each weight classes' championships and the list of county athletes who placed on the podiums.

At 75 pounds, Joshua Jordan of Springport took first place, defeating his teammate Owen Sanford in a major decision. At the 80-pound weight class, Brody Birchfield of Springport took first place after defeating teammate Espen Pasienza by pinfall. At 85 pounds, Raymond Courter of Springport took first place after defeating James Trout of Homer by pinfall. At 90 pounds, Alexis Reif of Quincy won first place after defeating Brayden Betz of Springport by pinfall. Comet Bryce Owen took third place for Jonesville.
At 95 pounds, Shamus O'Hearon of Springport took first place after defeating Derrick Farnsworth of Concord by pinfall. Cole Graves of Jonesville took third place after winning by pinfall over Braylon Bunch of Bronson. At 100 pounds, Mason Thurber of Springport took first place after pinning Isaac Miller of Homer. Reid Westfall of Reading to third place after pinning Rylan Finchman of Bronson.
At 105 pounds, Kylee Grimmett of Springport won by technical fall over Reading's Dylan McCallister. Grimmett took first place and McCallister took second. Chance Murphy of Jonesville placed fourth overall. Union City's Kaden Russell took first place at 110 pounds over teammate Damean Mulder. At 115 pounds, Ripken Overweg of Springport took first place over Dreyton Turner of Bronson. Jonesville's Max Young took third place after a pinfall win over Violet Gill of Quincy.

At 120 pounds, Andon Zienart of Springport took first place over Evan Yeakey of Quincy. At 125 pounds, Easton Merrill took first place for Springport after a pinfall win over Concord's Garrett Tyler. At 130 pounds, Tyler Miner of Quincy defeated Jonesville's Kordel Tressler for first place after a pinfall win. At 137 pounds, John Milks of Jonesville took first place after a 7-0 decision win over Conner McCelland of Bronson. At 145 pounds, Jayden Farnham of Homer took first place after a win over Diezel Sheeley of Quincy. At 155 pounds, Caiden Paeth of Homer defeated Conrad Carpenter of Jonesville for first place. Gavin Wright of Reading took third place after a pinfall win over Brady Balog of Jonesville. Balog took fourth.
At 167 pounds, Carter Farrell of Jonesville defeated Raymond Begarowicz by pinfall for first place. Jaavid McCarly of Reading took fourth place. At 185 pounds, Isaac Westfall of Reading took first place after a pinfall win over Springport wrestler Rayquan Day. Westfall went 13-0 during the season, pinning all of his opponents. Ranger Layken Morey took fourth place. At 215 pounds, Drew Webster won by pinfall over teammate Bennett Pierucki for first place. At 245/285 pounds, Luke Conkright of Union City won over Braydon Fritz of Bronson for first place.
