The Big Bad Wolf is on trial Saturday in Fort Smith

From a mock trial for a fairy tale wolf to the Black Market to the N. 3rd Street block party, the Fort Smith Entertainment district has an all day, and all night Oktoberfest planned Saturday.

The Go Downtown Forth Smith's Oktoberfest starts with the 7 a.m. farmers market at the end of the 2022 harvest season. Vendors plan to pass out candy all day, too. The parking lot of the First National Bank, 601 N. Garrison will be the center of events for the day.

The Bakery District, 70 S 7th, has yoga at 7 a.m. story-time for the kids at 11 a.m. at Bookish, 70 S. 7th, and a Fort Smith Symphony after party there at 8 p.m.

The 3rd Street block party includes arts, crafts, vintage clothes, music, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Fort Smith's border town courtroom may not be a good place for the villain from "The Three Little Pigs," and "Little Red Riding Hood," on Saturday at the Fort Smith Museum of History, 320 Rogers.

The Big Bad Wolf may have to face up to his fairy tale crimes Saturday. He goes before the Hangin' Judge on allegations of huffing and puffing, and about what happened to grandma.

The wolf trial is part of Go Downtown Fort Smith's Oktoberfest in the Entertainment District along Garrison Avenue downtown.

The trial of the Big Bad Wolf event that also happens to be a celebration of 19th century U.S. District Judge Isaac Parker's birthday.

The Oktoberfest Black market is 7 p.m. to 10 .m. with music, vendors and artists.

The Fort Smith Downtown Business Association & Bar and Restaurant committee have organized a pub crawl 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. with commemorative cups. Live music will play up and down Garrison Avenue at Arlie Muck's, Hero's Papa's Pub & Pizzeria, Neumeier's Rib Room, La Huerta Mexican Restaurant, R. Landry's New Orleans Cafe, Old Town Grain & Feed, Bricktown Brewery, The Majestic, Club Kinkead's, Tipsy's Pub, Ben's Hookah Lounge, The Bakery District and Prohibition.
