Big Brother 2023 spoilers follow.

Zak has become the second housemate evicted from Big Brother.

Friday night's (October 20) live episode saw housemates Zak and Henry go head-to-head in the eviction vote, with Zak unfortunately having to leave the Big Brother House.

Presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best were live from the house to confirm more than 1 million votes were cast this week.

"It was a bit nerve-wracking. Not that I expected it, but I was excited to have people cheering," he told AJ.

Zak suspected he was evicted because he'd simply had more "conflicts" in the house than fellow nominee Henry. He felt Kerry played a role in his exit, calling her "manipulative" even if she's a "lovely woman".

"People must have thought I was a game player, but I know the real me," he said.

It has been a tense week inside the Big Brother House, as Hallie and Olivia faced punishment for breaking the rules around communicating in secret code.

The two were called out in front of the whole house because Hallie traced letters on Olivia's back to communicate about fellow housemates Zak and Matty.

Hallie subsequently faced punishment for a second rule break because she openly discussed nominations while trying to explain herself to her housemates.

This week has also seen housemate Kerry Riches facing a backlash from viewers when she was caught on the ITVX livestream using the word "gay" in a negative context.

A Big Brother spokesperson subsequently told Digital Spy: "Kerry was brought to the diary room to discuss her inappropriate use of language.

"Big Brother reminded Kerry of her respect and inclusion training prior to entering the House and the consequences of any further use of offensive language. Kerry understood and apologised for any offence caused."

All of this drama follows on the heels of Farida Khalifa becoming the very first housemate evicted from Big Brother last Friday after a head-to-head vote against Kerry.

Big Brother airs Sundays to Fridays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. Each episode is followed by Big Brother Late & Live at 10pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
