From Oprah Magazine

  • The Big Brother season 21 cast members were officially revealed on June 17.

  • We're set to meet 16 new houseguest this summer when the show returns during a two-night premiere on June 25 and 26th.

  • Only one cast member is over the age of 31, making it (another) millennial-centric season.

It's officially time to put those Big Brother 21 All-Star cast rumors to rest.

The full BB21 houseguest list was finally released on June 17-and it turns out that CBS has brought us 16 new faces to watch 24/7, the exact same number of game players from last season. This poses a low possibility that the show will be bring back even one veteran this season, although season 19 was its biggest cast yet with 17 players, the last being returnee Paul Abrahamian. As they say, expect the unexpected.

So what's our initial takeaway from the season 21 cast announcement? As in previous years, the houseguests are majority millennial, with Houston's Cliff Hogg III, 53, being the only person over the age of 31-although one new game player identifies her age as "30-ish." There are also four people who either live in, or are from, New York City, with two from Staten Island. We also have two women who work in marketing, a few that drop Abrahamian's name as their favorite past player, and three that openly admit to being Big Brother newbies (and, ahem, who have clearly not watched the show before).

And while it's difficult to gauge much from professionally-taken headshots and short bios, we'll find out more about each new house guest during Jeff Schroeder's one-on-one interviews taking place on the live feeds. See the link below:

Check out the full list of Big Brother 21 houseguests below, and hang on super fans-We only have a matter of days to go until the June 25 premiere!

Hometown: Long Island, NY

Career: Pre-school aide

Biggest bio takeaway: Her favorite past houseguest is seasons 18 and 19's Paul Abrahamian because "he was authentically himself, didn’t take BS from anyone, and ran that house while most everyone else mindlessly followed."

Tommy Bracco, 28

Hometown: Staten Island

Career: Broadway dancer

Biggest bio takeaway: He named season 17 and 18's Da'Vonne Rogers as his favorite BB cast member. "Not only was she great TV, but Momma Day is VERY intuitive. Her only issue is that she doesn’t always know what to do with the information." He's also a major player of the board game Catan, which could maybe help him in the house.

Kathryn Dunn, 29

Hometown: Irving, TX

Career: Digital marketing executive

Biggest bio takeaway: She "doesn't watch TV," so she's another new cast member that couldn't name a favorite houseguest. Oh, but she does say she's "low-key savage." Watch out.

Kemi Faknule, 25

Hometown: Elkridge, Maryland

Career: Marketing Strategist

Biggest bio takeaway: She blatantly admits that, "I'm a b****. This is a (not so) sad truth." And her favorite past houseguest is Big Brother 13-winner Rachel Reilly, with a close second being season 19's Jessica Graf.

Hometown: Houston

Career: Petroleum engineer

Biggest bio takeaway: His strategy going in? "Present myself as the loyal soldier to one or more strong players while creating enough chaos or paranoia to have people pointing fingers and targeting each other." Hogg's favorite houseguest is BB 16's winner Derrick Levasseur.

Ovi Kabir, 22

Hometown: Oakridge, Tennesse

Career: College student

Biggest bio takeaway: He already has a lengthy strategy for winning the game, and even offered details about his jury management plans. His favorite veteran player is BB12's "Brigade" alliance member and season winner, Hayden Moss. Kabir also has a girlfriend, so no summer romance for him?

Nick Maccarone, 27

Hometown: Sewell, New Jersey

Career: Therapist

Biggest bio takeaway: He mentioned one of his favorite activities is meeting women and he foresees seeing a lot of "beautiful girls" in the house, so we don't see Maccarone shying away from a shomance. He first started watching the show during BB 17 and his favorite player is BB 20's Tyler Crispen. Oh, and based off of past season, his strategy to win the game is to be the first HOH.

Jack Matthews, 28

Hometown: Chicago

Career: Model

Biggest bio takeaway: She's married, so we probably won't be seeing a showmance from this one. And her favorite BB veteran? Dan Gheesling, winner of season 10 and runner-up of season 14.

Christie Murphy, 28

Hometown: Staten Island

Career: Boutique owner

Biggest bio takeaway: She mentions loving season 11 and 13's showmance between Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd, but also admires Abrahamian's "incredible" gameplay. She also plans on "using my sexuality" as a social advantage. "I’m going into the house as the openly feminine lesbian. I will use my femininity and charm to easily persuade and subtly manipulate the men, while also being the emotional shoulder, and best friend to all the girls."

Sam Smith, 31

Hometown: West Nanticoke, Pennsylvania

Career: Truck driver

Biggest bio takeaway: He's married and lists missing his family as the most difficult part of living in the BB house. His favorite player? Derrick Levasseur.

Isabella Wang, 22

Hometown: Mount Olive, New Jersey

Career: Public health analyst

Biggest bio takeaway: Simply put, Wang's strategy for winning the game is "bribery." She also feels that there will be no difficult aspect of living in the house because "I low-key feel like I was born for this." And if that wasn't enough, her favorite BB cast member is...herself.
