Big Burrito: KayaFest returns to the Strip after pandemic cancels Smallman street fair in 2020, 2021

Big Burrito Group is a making a major claim on the goal of fully getting back to normal this summer, announcing it will hold KayaFest at and outside its popular Strip District restaurant for the first time in two years.

The street fair, which typically floods neighboring Smallman Street full of people for free live music and street food, is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, over the Memorial Day weekend, a traditional launch of summer.

According to an announcement, the musical lineup is sponsored by the support of South Side-based Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale.
