These big name performers are coming to Eastern Washington. Rappers, comedians and more

Kids are back in school and the start of fall is just around the corner. But entertainment in Tri-Cities is showing no signs of slowing over the cooler months ahead, with big names traveling to the area through the end of winter.

Between the upcoming reopening of Ray’s Golden Lion and the constantly-packed schedules at various local venues, like Wine Social and The Emerald of Siam, local artists have gigs planned for months out.

There are also collaborative events planned over the winter, featuring local artists and larger performers together. For instance, Spooky Island II is a joint effort between Richland-based organizations Uptown Get Down and Unleashed Entertainment, headlined by local rap sensation Karma Knows. The rapper has sold out the Uptown Theatre twice before, the only artist to do so.

The inaugural Uptown Get Down music festival sold out its first year at the theatre, and is now presenting a series of rappers October 27 at 7 p.m., including Kid Lennon.

Big names at Kennewick Toyota Center

WWE SuperShow

Wrestling stars from RAW and SmackDown will be in town on Sept. 16 for the WWE SuperShow. The triple main event features:

  • A WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match between defending champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura

  • A Street Fight between “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio

  • A U.S. Championship Fatal Four-Way Match with Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, LA Knight, AJ Styles and Austin Theory

  • Bonus events and surprises

Verified resale tickets start at $15 for the show beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Ludacris

A staple in 2000s-era rap and hip hop, Ludacris is coming to the Toyota Center September 19 with DJ Infamous through Live Nation.

Ludacris sold over 24 million albums across the world, according to a press release from Live Nation. The rapper has followed several other ventures since the height of his music career, including acting, business and philanthropy. He’s bringing back favorites like Money Maker and My Chick Bad with Nicki Minaj.

Available tickets start at $47.50 for the show beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Iván Cornejo

A singer-songwriter from California, Iván Cornejo is a chart-topping regional Mexican musician who recently signed with Universal Music Publishing Group. He was noted as a “Latin Artist on the Rise” by Billboard and has garnered nearly 12 million streams on his second studio album alone.

Cornejo is scheduled to perform at 8 p.m. on September 30 as part of his Terapia tour. Resale tickets are available, starting at $62.

Dwight Yoakam

Grammy-award winning country star Dwight Yoakam will be in Tri-Cities October 19 with The Mavericks.

Yoakam has sold more than 25 million albums, with several albums reaching platinum or multi-platinum status. He has been awarded Artist of the Year by the Americana Music Association and the BMI Country Music’s President’s Award.

Tickets start at $53 for the concert starting at 7 p.m.

Gabriel Iglesias

One of the most watched and highest-grossing touring comedians in the world, iconic stand-up comedian Gabriel Iglesias will be here November 5 as part of his “Don’t Worry Be Fluffy” comedy tour.

Standard admission is $69.50 for the comedy show starting at 7 p.m.

Blippi

Looking for a family event? The child entertainer loved across the country, Blippi, will be in Tri-Cities on November 22 as part of “The Wonderful World Tour.

Fans can sing, dance and learn with Blippi to discover what makes cities unique. But there will also be monster trucks, excavators and garbage trucks.

Standard admission for the “musical party” starting at 6 p.m. is $27.50.

Ventriloquist and comedian Jeff Dunham will be in the Toyota Center with his famous puppets February 10, 2024.

Jeff Dunham

Record-breaking comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham will also be in town, with tickets for the February 10, 2024 local stop on his “Still Not Canceled” tour going on sale September 18.

Dunham has been touring since 2007, performing for over 7 million people in that time, according to a press release for the show. He’s highly watched and rated on Comedy Central, where his last comedy special became the most-watched of 2022.

TobyMac

Successful Christian artist known as TobyMac will be here on February 15, 2024 for the “Hits Deep” tour. He’ll be joined by Cory Asbury, Mac Powell, Tasha Layton, Jon Reddick and Terrian.

The Grammy award-winning artist has reached Gold status on all six of his studio projects. His album “EYE ON IT” was the first Christian album to ever debut on the Billboard 200.

Other big name Eastern Washington shows

Adam Sandler

If you want to travel for what will be an Eastern Washington first, take the family to Spokane to see well-known comedian Adam Sandler on his “I Missed You” tour. It’ll be his first time in Washington since February 2016.

Tickets range from $39.50 to $169.50, going on sale at noon September 15. The 16+ show will be October 16 through Live Nation at the Spokane Arena.
