Big roundup: Nashville area high school football top games from Week 10

Here is a look at the top games from Week 10 of the Tennessee high school football season from Nashville area teams.

Beech 27, Brentwood 6: JP Courtney scored on a 74-yards run in the third quarter and finished with 177 yards on 16 carries for Beech. Nick Krall made field goals of 21 and 31 yards for the Buccaneers. Grant Nelson was 24-of-43 passing for 190 yards and a touchdown but threw two picks for Brentwood.

Blackman 47, Cookeville 21: Jack Risner threw five touchdown passes and ran for another one to lead the Blaze. Mississippi State commitment Justin Brown caught 10 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns and Ben Marshall and Campbell Lee caught one TD pass each.

Cane Ridge 41, Dickson County 0: Shivan Abdullah threw for 101 yards and two touchdowns and Reggie Goodloe rand for 99 yards and two TDs in Cane Ridge’s win. Colbey Lamberth was 12-of-30 passing for 78 yards for Dickson County.

Clay County 44, York 14: Keaton Arms was 10-of-13 passing for 152 yards and three touchdowns and had 14 carries for 96 yards and a touchdown in Clay County’s win. Joseph Marcom added 129 yards and two touchdowns and Alec Kerr caught three touchdown passes. Miles Leffew threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns for York.

DCA 38, Grace Christian 7: Jackson Hiett threw for 264 yards and a touchdown in Grace Christian’s loss. Teammate Kyle Davidson had 123 receiving yards.

Eagleville 35, Collinwood 6: Jesse Brown was 9-of-25 passing for 140 yards and two touchdowns and Kolten Daniel ran for 39 yards and two scores in Eagleville’s win. Cade Pippenger added 55 yards and a TD on three catches for the Eagles.

FRA 42, BGA 7: Logan Kinnard threw two touchdown passes in the first half to lead FRA. Kinnard was 7-of-11 passing for 101 yards and ran for 29 yards on five carries. Bobby Council ran for 89 yards and a touchdown and Ty Clark had 88 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.

Franklin County 41, Warren County 21: CJ Seals was 11-of-22 passing for 191 yards and a touchdown in Franklin County’s win. Manny Scott ran for 107 yards and two TDs and Na’Zaiyah Holman ran for another touchdown for the Rebels. Braylon Grayson had 10 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown for Warren County.

Goodpasture 24, Dekalb County 17: Jaron Elkins ran for 180 yards and three touchdowns to lead Goodpasture. Musa Wellman added 84 yards on 15 carries.

Green Hill 28, Station Camp 14: Cade Mahoney was 15-of-22 passing for 187 yards and two touchdowns and had 16 carries for 47 yards and a touchdown to lead Green Hill. Kaleb Carver caught two touchdown passes and Brax Lamberth ran for 30 yards.

Henry County 41, Northeast 6: Ryan Damron threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns to lead Henry County. Morgan Barrick, Lake Heffington and Lavon Tharpe had one TD catch each for the Patriots.

Independence 13, Page 0: Brooks Sapone threw for 196 yards and ran for 26 yards and Tre Hartwell ran for 75 yards and two touchdowns and caught three passes for 17 yards for Independence. Steele Katina and Hudson Cobb both had two catches for 39 yards for the Eagles.

Lawrence County 49, Hillwood 14: Letavion Everly led Lawrence County with three touchdown runs, including a 72-yard run in the first quarter. Everly finished with 164 yards on 12 carries and Isaiah Bradley had 14 carries for 114 yards and a touchdown.

Lipscomb Academy 43, CPA 21: Liberty commitment Hank Brown threw for 464 yards and five touchdowns in Lipscomb Academy’s win. Dylan Wroblewski caught two TD passes and Vanderbilt commitment Junior Sherril, Dillon Lorick and Tennessee commitment Nate Spillman had one TD catch each. Asher Keck led CPA with 18 carries for 55 yards.

Marshall County 56, Montgomery Central 8: Silas Teat threw four touchdown passes and Marshall County finished with 322 yards of total offense in their win. Jakavan Curry returned an interception 27 yards for a touchdown and Darian Crenshaw recovered a fumble in the endzone for another TD for the Tigers.

MBA 42, Baylor 34: Ole Miss commitment Marcel Reed threw two touchdown passes and ran for another three TDs to lead the Big Red. Claiborne Richard caught eight passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns and Brooklen Davis ran for 58 yards and a touchdown. Reed was 14-of-27 passing in the game. Whit Muschamp, the son of Georgia assistant Will Muschamp, was 25-of-38 passing for 430 yards and four TDs for Baylor. Caleb Hampton had 79 rushing yards and a TD. And teammates Amari Jefferson and Max Leblanc had 205 and 146 receiving yards respectively.

MTCS 30, Wayne County 12: Yates Green threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns and Eli Wilson ran for 115 yards and another TD and caight three passes for 75 yards and a touchdown for MTCS. Grant Haussin added three catches for 40 yards and a touchdown.

Nashville Christian 43, Mt. Juliet Christian 12: Bryson Holt threw two touchdown passes and ran for a third to lead Nashville Christian. Cameron Carden had 56 yards and a touchdown on three carries and Brock Haywood added 38 rushing yards for the Eagles. Micah Smith had eight carries for 68 yards and a touchdown for Mt. Juliet Christian.

Nolensville 30, Franklin 20: Coby Walton had 202 passing yards and threw two touchdown passes in Nolensville’s win. Zion Tamaska added 90 yards rushing and Samson Johnson had 10 carries for 65 yards and a TD. Rocco Panaia ran for 112 yards and a touchdown for Franklin.

Smyrna 41, McGavock 14: Arion Carter ran for 135 yards and two touchdowns and had six solo tackles and caught an interception for Smyrna. Landon Miller ran for 128 yards and two TDs and threw for 21 yards for the Bulldogs.

Springfield 40, Portland 0: Keenan Chatman ran for two touchdowns and Keontez Woodward and Lamarious Daniels ran for one TD each for Springfield. Daniels finished with 80 rushing yards and Ja’Quavion Johnson returned an interception32 yards for a TD.

Stewarts Creek 56, Wilson Central 14: Gage Hoover threw three touchdowns and Caleb Floyd ran for another three for Stewarts Creek. Marcel Gordon had 10 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown for the Red Hawks. Gavin Mayfield was 3-of-5 passing for 83 yards and a touchdown for Wilson Central.

Summit 48, Shelbyville 0: Dominick Hollis had touchdown runs of 75, 3 and 35 yards in a Summit’s rout. Austin Harvey rand three times for 56 yards and a touchdown and Logan Frazer added 53 yards on six carries. Hollis finished with 262 rushing yards.

Upperman 24, Walker Valley 17: Terrance Dedmon had 207 rushing yards and two touchdowns in Upperman’s win. Jonathon Rushing added another rushing TD and Clayton Harris made a 29-yard field goal for the bees.
