Big Ten expansion, realignment speculation surrounds Pac-12 Conference, Oregon, Washington

The Big Ten Conference has already expanded to include Pac-12 teams USC and UCLA.

Could it reach into the conference in college expansion and realignment once again?

Conference expansion speculation is swirling around the Big Ten, with the Pac-12's Oregon Ducks and Washington Huskies at the forefront of the chatter (but other schools also being included in the conversation).

Zachary Neel wrote: "This obviously isn’t the first time that rumors of “Oregon to the Big Ten” have swirled, with many speculating last summer that it could potentially happen in the wake of USC and UCLA leaving the Pac-12. However, promises of a lucrative media deal put things on pause in the conference. If that media deal doesn’t come to fruition, though — and recent rumors are that the expectations have been drastically lowered — then it could lead to teams starting to flee for greener grass."
