The Big Ten Conference has already expanded to include Pac-12 teams USC and UCLA.

Could it reach into the conference in college expansion and realignment once again?

Conference expansion speculation is swirling around the Big Ten, with the Pac-12's Oregon Ducks and Washington Huskies at the forefront of the chatter (but other schools also being included in the conversation).

Check out the latest speculation involving Pac-12 teams potentially moving to the Big Ten:

Ducks Wire: Oregon, Washington Big Ten speculation returns

Zachary Neel wrote: "This obviously isn’t the first time that rumors of “Oregon to the Big Ten” have swirled, with many speculating last summer that it could potentially happen in the wake of USC and UCLA leaving the Pac-12. However, promises of a lucrative media deal put things on pause in the conference. If that media deal doesn’t come to fruition, though — and recent rumors are that the expectations have been drastically lowered — then it could lead to teams starting to flee for greener grass."

Hawkeyes Wire: Big Ten should target Pac-12 teams in further expansion

Jacob Keppen wrote: "I’m just going to lump all of these into one selection, because it’s been talked about to death over the past however many months. Oregon, Washington, Utah, Stanford, California. Take your pick. All of them make sense for their own various reasons."

CBS Sports: Washington, Oregon could go to Big Ten if Pac-12 breaks up

Dennis Dodd wrote: "Assuming the Four Corners bolt first, that creates a decision for what would become the two biggest available brands in the country. Keyword "available" because, with the league crumbling around it, Oregon and Washington would have options. And their best option would likely be the Big Ten. The schools align academically with the Big Ten. They would join USC and UCLA, mitigating travel issues in the Big Ten for all four schools with more games closer to home."

Ducks Wire: Oregon Ducks could land in Big Ten Conference

Zachary Neel wrote: "The Ducks are among the biggest available brands on the market, and you can guarantee that the Big Ten would welcome them with open arms should they be looking for a new conference to play in. One of the top teams in college football, and historically competitive in college basketball, the Ducks fit well in the Big Ten at the big boys’ table."

Ducks Wire: Washington Huskies fit in the Big Ten

Zachary Neel wrote: "The Huskies would absolutely be part of the ideal with Oregon to the Big Ten. They have a large media market and are among the top available brands in the sport as well. With USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washington, the Big Ten would have a great start to a western conference."

Athlon Sports: Washington, Oregon on Big Ten expansion watch

Kevin Borba wrote: The Big Ten has their pick of the litter, and Washington is one of the programs that are viewed as a match for the conference. It gives the Big Ten, who is already expanding out west, a key market up there in Seattle, and adds another west coast stop for USC and UCLA. If the Pac-12 were to break up, Oregon and Washington have a chance to stick together and make their way to the Big Ten. Oregon has been successful in football throughout the years and is a major brand to have."

Sports Illustrated: Oregon, Washington, Stanford options for Big Ten in expansion

James Parks wrote: "Another option for the Big Ten if they want an institution that screams "elite". Stanford has one of the country's biggest university endowments, boasts unchallenged academic prestige, and a solid athletic department to boot. Not to mention access to the San Francisco TV market and an international reach of alumni from the most respected corners of society."

CBS Sports: Is Big Ten coming after more Pac-12 schools in expansion?

Dennis Dodd wrote: "Getting up to four ore Pac-12 teams playing in the Big Ten would look a heck of a lot better than taking on the entire Pac-12 now. Streaming or no streaming, membership in the Big Ten is life at the top, even if it means taking something less than that $75 million full share. … Oregon and Washington would be available (without Cal and Stanford) for the Big Ten, which would ask its new rightsholders -- CBS, Fox, NBC -- to finance growth to 18 teams. If not, a streamer may be sought to pony up. Once again, Warren's legacy would loom."
