'That Big Tree's Gone': Heavy Winds Cause Damage in Oxfordshire

Heavy winds caused damage in parts of England on October 31, downing trees and snarling travel in several areas including Oxfordshire.

The Met Office issued alerts throughout the day on Sunday warning of strong winds, rain and flooding, as a storm system impacted the United Kingdom. Rail service from London’s Euston Station was halted completely after severe weather caused damage to lines, impacting travelers headed to Glasgow for the opening of the COP26 UN climate summit.
