The Big West Monroe Fair is returning to the Ike Hamilton Expo Center June 16-25.
The Big West Monroe Fair is returning to the Ike Hamilton Expo Center June 16-25.

The Big West Monroe Fair is returning to the Ike Hamilton Expo Center, according to the fair's Facebook page.

The fair opens June 16 and will run through June 26 on the grounds of the expo center, 501 Mane St., West Monroe.

Last year, the fair was the first one in the City of West Monroe since the 1970s. The Ouachita Valley Fair was formerly held at the Ouachita Valley Fairgrounds, the current site of West Monroe City Government Complex that houses city hall and the police department.

The fair has more than 58 rides, including kiddie rides for young kids and major family rides, as well as traditional carnival food, such as cotton candy, corn dogs and funnel cakes.
