Nissan and aftermarket parts specialist Z1 Motorsports have come together to build a 750-horsepower Nissan Global Time Attack TT 370Z. And good on them. It's about time the decade-old 370Z's gotten some spicing up, even if it is just for racing purposes.

According to Nissan, Z1's actually going to compete with this hopped-up 370Z in the upcoming 2020 Global Time Attack season. To make it competitive, the 370's received a ton of upgrades. The motor is still the 3.7-liter block from the road car, but it's now rocking Garrett GTX 3076 turbochargers, new fuel management and electronics systems and a Z1 Motorsports race exhaust system.

The transmission has been swapped to a six-speed sequential gearbox with a racing clutch. Z1 also swapped out the entire suspension, using parts from the Nismo racing bin. The brakes are custom-built Brembos, too. Cooling has been upgraded throughout; the TT 370Z has a Nismo radiator and new cooling systems for the transmission, oil, and differential.

Speaking of which, the TT 370Z uses a Nismo GT-R Pro 1.5 differential to send power to the rear wheels. In this case, those wheels are RAYS Volk ZE40 Diamond Dark Gunmetal 18x11-inch aluminum-alloys wearing Yokohama Advan A052 315/30R18 high performance rubber.

A full carbon fiber aero package—yes, there's a massive rear wing—helps keep the car's tires from losing grip. That body kit, the fully stripped interior, and the custom livery and cage help distinguish this race-prepped 370Z from the modified 2010 models racing through urban streets at night, or doing whatever it is 370Zs do.
