Biggest concerts, comedy shows in Jacksonville, St. Augustine now through March
Venues throughout the Jacksonville area are booking shows for fans hungry for live music after nearly two years of few-and-far-between concerts. Here are some that we're looking forward to between now and the end of March.

Gladys Knight
8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, at the Florida Theatre. $49.50-$99.50.
They don't call her the Empress of Soul for nothing. Knight has done it all — she won a televised talent contest at age 7, released her first album in 1960, had No. 1 hits on the pop, gospel, R&B and adult contemporary charts, guest-starred on "Baywatch" and "30 Rock," earned eight Grammys, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, performed as a bee on "The Masked Singer" and sang a jaw-dropping National Anthem at the Super Bowl in 2019.
Imagine Dragons
7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. $39.50-$129.50.
Imagine Dragons came out swinging, winning a Grammy for Best Rock Performance for “Radioactive,” one of their first singles, and they haven’t let up since, with each of their five studio albums going to No. 1 or 2 on the U.S. Rock charts. Jacksonville is just the second stop on the band’s Mercury Tour, its first since 2018, so there’s no telling what surprises they may have in store. This is a “health check” show, but details have not been released.
Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series
Feb. 11-25 at Fort Mose Historic State Park. $65-$115
A new music series at Fort Mose Historic State Park near St. Augustine makes its debut with six concerts over three weeks in February. On Friday, Feb. 18, the Count Basie Orchestra takes the stage, followed on Saturday, Feb. 19, by singer/songwriter Amythyst Kiah. Jazz singer Gregory Porter headlines on Thursday, Feb. 24, and the series closes with a show by Tank & the Bangas on Friday, Feb. 25. Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue close the series with a show on Saturday, Feb. 26. Blues master Taj Mahal and Grammy-winning jazz bassist Christian McBride were scheduled to perform Feb. 11 and 12, but have canceled.

8 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at the Jacksonville Performing Arts Center. $91.50-$223.50.
The comic legends team up for their You Won't Believe What They Look Like Today Tour, an evening of jokes, memories and bluegrass music (Martin, an accomplished banjo player, will play with special guests the Steep Canyon Rangers). Martin and Short, who recently teamed up for Hulu's "Only Murders in the Building," promise the show will be “The Funniest Show in Town at the Moment.”
DaBaby and Moneybagg Yo
7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. $49-$250.
Hip hop comes to Jacksonville for a big show, headlined by DaBaby, who has gone No. 1 on the U.S. charts with his last two albums and stirred up a stink last year for some remarks at a Miami show some considered to be homophobic. Moneybagg Yo, Tokyo Jetz, Trina & Kamillion, Liek Baby and Tyte are also on the bill.
Jojo Siwa
7 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. $36.76-$66.76.
Most people over the age of 30 or so just aren’t going to understand Siwa’s popularity. Known for her signature ponytail and bow, she’s been a reality TV and Youtube star, a “Dance with the Stars” and “Masked Singer” contestant, an LGBTQ+ icon and one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People – and she’s just 18. But her fans, the “Siwanatorz,” get it.
Graham Nash
Wednesday, March 9, and Sunday, March 13, at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. $88.50-$98.50.
If there is anyone perfectly suited to deliver “an intimate evening of songs and stories,” it’s Nash. He’s a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer (with the Hollies and Crosby, Stills & Nash), an Officer of the British Empire and a true rock ‘n’ roll survivor. He’s playing two shows, each of which has been postponed three times. Both shows require proof of a negative COVID test or proof of vaccination, and all attendees are asked to wear a face covering during the shows.
JJ Grey's Blackwater Sol Revue
March 11 and 12 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Anastasia State Park. $128.50-$353.50.
Jacksonville’s own JJ Grey & Mofro headline a two-night festival that's just too big for one venue. On March 11, JJ Grey & Mofro and the Allman Betts Band play at the amphitheater and Dumpstaphunk does a late-night show at the beach in the adjacent state park. The next night, Grey & Mofro, Larkin Poe and Neal Francis play the main stage and Eugene Snowden, Steel Pulse and Greyboy Allstars play at the beach. Camping is available.
Cedric the Entertainer
7:30 p.m. Friday, March 11, at the Times-Union Center. $79-$189.
The star of CBS' sitcom "The Neighborhood" is no stranger to performing in Jacksonville — this will be at least his seventh show since Cedric the Entertainer hosted a Super Bowl party in Jacksonville back in '05. Desi Banks opens the show.
Suwannee Spring Reunion
March 17-20 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, Live Oak. $75-$275.
Attending a show at Spirit of the Suwannee isn’t like going to a typical concert. There are multiple stages and most people camp on the grounds. Spring Reunion features more than 15 Americana acts, including Greensky Bluegrass, Trampled by Turtles, Jim Lauderdale, Donna the Buffalo and Yonder Mountain Spring Band. Several other festivals are planned for the park, including Brainquility in February, Suwannee River Jam in late April and Hulaween and Roots Revival in the fall, but details haven’t been released for those.
Widespread Panic
7 p.m. Friday, March 25; 7 p.m. Saturday, March 26; and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 27, at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. $57.50-$77.50
The Georgia-based jam band is playing three nights in St. Augustine, and it's a safe bet that they won't play the same song twice. You don't really need to know the music to have a good time at a Widespread Panic show; the crowd will just carry you along. The band features drummer Duane Trucks, who is from Jacksonville.
