PANAMA CITY BEACH − The 2023 Gulf Coast Jam will without a doubt be the largest in the event's history.

According to Rendy Lovelady, executive director of the Gulf Coast Jam, tickets for the event, which will be held June 1-4, now are sold out. While he would not release how many tickets were sold, he noted attendance for the 2023 event will topple that of the 2022 event, which garnered about 80,000 people over the four-day music festival.

This is the first time the event has sold out.

"The last three events have steadily grown to where it's just become a bigger and bigger event," Lovelady said. "It (will be) the biggest event by far. We are truly sold out. There is not a ticket left to be given. ... There is no more room in the inn, (and) we're excited."

The event announced it was sold out in a Facebook post on Monday. As of Wednesday morning, the post had 770 reactions, about 500 comments and 380 shares.

According to the Gulf Coast Jam website, lineups for the 2023 event are: Jonboy Storey, Them Dirty Roses, Dylan Marlowe, Breland and headliner Hardy on June 1; a Jim Beam Welcome Sessions Finalist, Dozzi, Shane Profitt, Warren Zeiders, Junstin Moore and headliner Miranda Lambert on June 2; a Jim Beam Welcome Sessions Finalist, Lily Rose, Bailey Zimmerman, Ernest, Chase Rice and headliner Morgan Wallen on June 3; and a Jim Beam Welcome Sessions Finalist, Seaforth, Mackenzie Porter, Dylan Scott, Gabby Barrett and headliner Kane Brown on June 4.

Lovelady credited the stacked lineups, as well as Morgan Wallen, as the main reasons the upcoming festival sold out.

"We have the biggest artistry lineup we have ever had in our history, (and) Morgan Wallen is truly one of the biggest names, if not the biggest name right now, in country music," Lovelady said. "Bringing in Morgan Wallen, we have more people than we've ever had, (and) new people who we've never had because he brings in a younger crowd."

Looking ahead, Lovelady hopes for the event to continue growing each year. He was not sure how it will do that, but said possibilities might include adding additional nights or allowing more people to attend.

"This is a big event for the city, as well as us, because now it puts us on what they call a 'mega scale' as far as festivals go," he said. "It's good for the beach, its good for the city and it's good for us."
