Bikini Kill Add London Show to Reunion Tour

Kathleen Hanna, Tobi Vail, and Kathi Wilcox are heading to Europe for their first full shows since 1997

Bikini Kill’s reunion tour was announced last month. The feminist punk heroes’ previously announced dates included shows in New York City and Los Angeles. It’s now been announced that Kathleen Hanna, Tobi Vail, Kathi Wilcox, and new guitarist Erica Dawn Lyle are heading to London as part of their reunion trek. The show takes place at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on June 10. Find their updated itinerary below.

This year’ tour marks Bikini Kill's first full shows since the band broke up in 1997. In late 2017, Hanna, Vail, and Wilcox played one song together at the Kitchen in New York City, during an event celebrating the release of the 33 1/3 book about the Raincoats by Pitchfork Contributing Editor Jenn Pelly. Last year, Bikini Kill’s discography was added to streaming services. Their 1998 compilation The Singles was also reissued in 2018.
