The bikinis are coming! Miami’s annual ode to swimsuits is back in town. How to go

If it stops raining in Miami for a minute, we can focus on things that are really important: like bikinis.

For fans of skimpy swimwear, you’ll be pleased to learn that one of the city’s most anticipated events, Paraiso, aka Swim Week, is back. It’s moved up to June this year, allowing brands to capitalize on the timing earlier in the season, says founder Natalija Dedic Stojanovic.

The festivities kick off Thursday with the so called Summer Fashion Summit at the W South Beach. The inaugural conference is super insider-y, bringing together top industry players from around the nation, so if this is the field you want to get into, we’d advise you to grab some tickets. Start saving; they start at $600 for a two day pass.

Speaking of saving... an experience like Miami Swim Week does not come cheap this year.

Also open to the public for big spenders are a number of catwalk shows at The Tents at Collins Park, at 2111 Collins Avenue, which is transformed into a giant runway on the sand.

Rent doubled? Keep in mind these selfie friendly activities will set you back a cool $650 for each show.

We hear a major highlight will be the Beach Bunny show: The celeb-loved brand is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a strutfest full of Next models, at 9 p.m. Thursday. Yes, you will be poor afterward but will walk out with swag and awesome Insta stories.

Other names to look out for include Swim Week OGs like Luli Fama, Sinesia Karol and Kittenish, which never disappoint with their less is more styles.

Stojanovic is excited about all this year has to offer.

“For a true VIP experience, passes are available that include front row seating to all 15 plus runway shows, gift bags and exclusive invitations,” she says. “For those wishing to experience Swim Week outside of the runways, there are numerous fashion presentations, wellness experiences and events that are free, open to the public and easily accessible.”
