Why are you seeking elective office?

The men and women in Law Enforcement have a very difficult job. I will make sure that they are all properly trained and continue that training each and every year. I will also work to research grants that may be available that will have a positive impact to the Sheriffs Office as well as the residents throughout our county. I will also communicate with law enforcement agencies throughout our county to visit our schools and senior facilities to educate our children and seniors about the dangers that we all face in society.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Homelessness. As an Alderman, I have worked very closely with our first responders and our Health Department to address these unfortunate issues that our community faces each and every day. I will continue these efforts as an Alderman and I will also assist them when I am elected Sheriff.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have been very successful throughout my 34 years in Law Enforcement. Hard work and dedication to the job have been key to my success. In 2007 I was named the National Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for the recovery of two missing children. I also received a special badge and commendation from FBI Director Robert Mueller for locating one of the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitives. I was also assigned to a 10 year old unsolved murder case in the town of Auburn. I was able to solve this murder within months with the assistance of retired Manchester Detective Robert Freitas who was assigned to the NH Cold Case Unit. It is important to note that I have never worked a case alone, it has always been a collaborative effort among many. I have always had a great relationship with Law Enforcement agencies throughout our state and country. I will continue this effort when I’m elected Sheriff.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform

The men and women in Law Enforcement have a very difficult job. It is very important that everyone in Law Enforcement has respect for all citizens in society. It is also important for all of our citizens to have that same respect toward each other as well as respect for the men and women in Law Enforcement. This world would be a safer place to live if we all treated each other with the same respect that we expect from others.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

The best advice ever shared with me was …

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

The Covid-19 issue will, unfortunately, have an impact on all of our government agencies. It is important that all first responders work together to keep everyone safe.
It is important that the person elected for this position work as hard as possible to keep our county safe. The employees within the sheriffs office work very hard each and every day. It is important that we elect a Sheriff that will work just as hard. It is not only good for morale, it’s the right thing to do. I will assure you that I will work very hard to better the sheriffs office.
