Bill Clinton recovering from non-COVID infection after being admitted to intensive care unit Tuesday

NBC National Correspondent Miguel Almaguer and NBC News Medical Correspondent Dr. John Torres join Andrea Mitchell to discuss former President Bill Clinton’s stay at an intensive care unit due to a non-COVID infection. “The former president is said to be on the mend and in good spirits, of course, he’s now spending his fourth day at the hospital here at the UC Irvine Medical Center,” says Almaguer. “His doctors released a joint statement overnight, it reads in part, his white blood cell count is trending down and he is responding to antibiotics well, we hope to have him home soon.”
